Let us now run through a practice exercise to understand the code of the remaining problem inside PictoBlox. Follow the steps:
- Open PictoBlox and create a New File.
- Select the coding environment as Block Coding.
- We will ask the user to input numbers using the ask () and wait block.
- Next, choose a = (Equal to) block and inside it add mod block from Operators block palette. To check if the Answer mod 2 is equal to 0 or not.
- Follow the same step to check if the Answer mod 3 is equal to 0 or not.
- Add one if () then else block inside an if () then else block from the Control block palette.
- Place “answer mod 2 = 0” block in the first if () then else block and add the other “answer mod 3 = 0” block to the second if () then else block.
- Use a display matrix as () block from the Display block palette after selecting Quarky as the board.
- Add display matrix as a (green) block when both the conditions are true otherwise display matrix as (red) block in both the else statements.
- Save the file with the name The Remainder Problem.
